Longridge Editors LLC works on both long- and short-term projects for clients. Sometimes, all a client needs is that little boost into action that comes from simple but strategic messaging, a good reporter contact, and a little courage.
We were pleased to be approached by Bob Nistendirk about gaining some press coverage for his newly merged accounting firm. Woomer, Nistendirk & Associates, PLLC, merged with Danny R. Simms, CPA.
We worked with Bob and his partners, Steve Woomer and Danny Simms, to identify key messages about the merger and to review questions that would be integral to any successful interview. We helped narrow the first PR effort to two targeted print state newspapers, but also counseled the firm to talk with a media placement specialist as well as to consider a thorough marketing review for long-term message development to raise the firm’s profile statewide and beyond.
Though the firm has a single office, it has clients doing business in over half of the United States; consequently, WNA CPAs files tax returns across the country. “Creating a partnership with Danny Simms was a natural fit for us,” says Bob. “We’ve known each other for years. The time was right to put the significant talents of both firms together to create a full-service firm.”
WNA CPAs now offers audit services, and establishes significant talent and experience in meeting the unique accounting needs of businesses in the oil and gas industry. Though the merger increases the firm’s size, the focus remains on the stability of long-term employees and continuity of services to existing clients.
Woomer, Nistendirk & Associates, PLLC, is a firm of Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) providing clients personalized quality service beyond comparison in consulting, accounting, tax and audit services and more.
